I'm so freaking psyched to see Ani DiFranco in Phili this weekend. I love that woman! She inspires me and makes me grateful for music whenever I hear her sing!!!

Well, considering the alternative, I guess I need to be grateful for turning another year older.

I am grateful for my heritage. We're taking down the Christmas ornaments today and hanging Mardi Gras beads on the tree - Good Times! And Thierry's making a Galette de Roi (French King Cake). Mmmm, smells like almonds in here.
And while I'm at it, I am grateful that like their parents, my kids like to sleep late - Life is Good!

I am greatfull that my family has plenty of clean and safe drinking water. Over a billion people in the world do not have access to safe drinking water. Knowing this helps put our lives in perspective.

I am greatful for these few days off with my daughters. They are so much fun and I'm beside with joy that Anais is learning how to appreciate people and experiences more than stuff!

I'm greatful for the internet which helps me to keep in touch with friends and family who are so far away and share thoughts like these with friends and friends I haven't met yet...
