Gratitude Journals

Being grateful is learned

Because of the number of entries I have been posting, it is becoming easier for me to be grateful for things I would have had a hard time imagining to be grateful for before. So I am happy that I have been learning this part of my chacacter which I hadn't polished before.

The Sun this morning

I have been visiting my sister in Tokyo this past one week. It's rained once only. I was thankful for the sun this morning. It's nice to be able to find something to be grateful for now.

Re-reading my entries

Just re-reading my entries to remind me what I have been going through lately. Not surprising going through them again was really helpful. So thanks to this website's owner. Your idea and labor has made a difference in my life. Thanks!

Also thanks for the Secret

I read the Secret recently. Its sort of influenced my life I guess. At least its helped a lot in what I think has been a difficult time for me. Thanks for that too.

Thanks for my sister

I really thank my sister who I am visiting these days for being so encouraging with me all the time.

What to be grateful for now?

Just came to re-read the morning prayer. Not feeling too great now so thought I'll go through it again. Thanks for that.

Breathing

Thank you for reminding me to be grateful for breathing. We forget this and if we had difficulty in doing so, boy wouldn't that be hard. So the greatest gift that you and I can have is that we are breathing in and out without much labor, pain or difficulty. Thank you, thank you, thank for every breath that I take.

Freedom

I feel free today. The girl I was head over heels in love with let me go last night as I did her, thus freeing me from 5 days of the constraint and misery of dependence on her feelings of love for me. Thank you for the freedom!

Recovered

I am grateful that recent health issues like a fast pulse rate and swaying movement of the body with every heart beat are much more settled now. I really really am grateful for this.

Reasonably

I am thankful that I am reasonably smart, attractive and charming. I am grateful that I have the desire to be a better human being, kinder to others and more able.
